This is ours
NOTES
We call our journals Notes and each Note holds one of life’s more complicated seasons. Inside every Note are pages you may enter in any order. There is no sequence to follow, nothing is numbered, nothing is prescribed.
Each Note exists and is delivered digitally. You may choose to keep it there, or bring it onto paper if that feels more natural to you. The form it takes is entirely yours.
lined & unlined
Every Note is delivered in both a Lined and an Unlined edition. The lined pages offer the quiet structure of something to write along. The unlined pages offer open space with no direction at all. Neither is better. One might suit you on a Tuesday and the other on a Thursday. Both are yours and the choice on which one to use can change as often as you want it to.
UN-JOURNALING
The experience of journaling with prompts that don't ask anything of you.
The simple act of putting pen to paper and being witnessed in one of life's more complicated seasons, with no requirement to discover something new, make progress, or cross a single thing off a list. There are no boxes to be filled, no daily rituals, no numbers to be marked, and no performance of having gotten better.
From the hallway
From the Hallway is the Stella's Daughter blog. It is where we write about the rooms we hold and the seasons that live inside them, from someone who is standing in them too. There is no advice here, and nothing is ranked or numbered. Just honest words from the hallway, whenever they arrive.
In each note you will find pages with
THOUGHTS
Thoughts are unfinished fragments. Just a first line, and the rest of the page has been left open so that what continues belongs entirely to you.
WORDS
Words are written for something, a feeling, a moment, a version of you. They give your expression a place to land and be held. You may respond directly, indirectly, or not at all.
PERMISSION & SPACE
Each Note also contains pages that make space in different ways. Some offer permission, while others exist for what needs to come out without restraint. Some are designed for what is not meant to remain and others exist so that nothing at all is required of you.
